After pioneering in the computer world, John joined Reader's Digest in the '70s where he was a group systems analyst. After years with the Digest, he and a partner formed their own fulfillment business. He retired in 2000 to go on to enjoy the good life of golf, travel and family.
John had a never-ending thirst for knowledge–a brilliant mind that would read and comprehend a book in record speed. His love of the computer world never changed, nor did his love of cooking. He was known by family and friends to generously share his passion for food and wine with spirited joy!
John is survived by his wife Patricia J. Moore, sister Mary Finkle, daughter Amy Smith, step-daughter Bonnie L. Carlson, step-son Brooks F. Carlson and eight grandchildren.
A celebration of John's life will be held later this summer.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Planned Parenthood.
